Step into a transformative experience with deep breakfast, a workshop designed to explore the profound journey of bodily recreation and self-renewal. Central to our practice is the belief that the body harbours the limitless potential for transformation and expression, no matter how insignificant it seems, serving as both a vessel and a monument to personal change.
In this immersive workshop, participants will engage in deep bodily focus and explore movement as a form of self-recreation. Through guided activities and intuitive exploration, we will practice profound concentration with our bodies while interacting with the surrounding space. We will invite our personal journeys to unfold through the authenticity of movement, both in its expressive manifestations and performance. Together, we will experience the body as an elemental medium, embracing vulnerability as a pathway to authenticity and creative expression. Participants will witness and support each other, cultivating an environment of energetic exchange and mutual empowerment.
This workshop is open to all levels of movement experience. what to expect: layered, task-based movement sessions guided by sound and intuitive exploration; exploration of your relationship with affective spaces to develop deeper and more complex bodily awareness; an open and supportive community for sharing and dialogical reflection; live soundscapes and music by Helsinki-based sound designer, Timo Tikka.
